These two have been a mystery to me for years. I do like their style, and even if no one recognizes them, they will still be two of my favorite small bronzes.

This one is 16mm-

Roman?--Campanian?

This one is 23mm-

Roman?--Campanian?

I don't have weights, but they did come with an interesting story, true or not. The seller stated a relative had picked them from bomb craters in Europe during WWII. The identifiable coins in the lot were Roman, Italian, and Portuguese.

Can you make out any of the reverse details on these coins? It's going to be difficult to pin them down without any. They are both interesting looking coin. I particularly like the thickness and shape of the second one.

I can see a reverse design poking through on the first, but can't tell what it is and haven't been able to match it to anything. The second coin is very thick, with a rounded obverse and a flat reverse. It doesn't seem to have much if any detail on the back. If I use my imagination the raised spot in the middle looks like a standing eagle r., but I wouldn't bet on it.

i don't know what either are, but both are interesting. the first must be some type of greek coin, that someone here will know.

the second has an interesting small bust...very child-like. geta? young caracalla? what a strange shape also...maybe something beside a coin?

First one is Campania Neopolis, minted in the 3rd century BC. obv. is Apollo, reverse is Victory crowning a man faced bull.

Try as I might, the bull just isn't appearing for me. I did have a suspicion that it is a Campanian issue because of the obverse style, do you think any of these are close?
