It looks like a couple little lamination flaws to me. Probably unique if it is.

Keen Eye's Enworb,
I pushed my Camera to it's limit's I think
& got as close as possible.
Can these Pic's help as it does start
to seem like "Lamination".

But as I look through my Eye Loupe & is
clearer than the Camera's Len's,
it still look's to be a Die Crack.

Hmmm....I think it might be the beginning of a Cud developing. Have a look at this and see what you reckon. All that's there is a big shiny cavity, but I would not be surprised if 2010 coins start to show up with a Cud in that position.

$1 2010 C9v2 R2 Wannabe cud

Then there's this one which I have 4 examples of so it's definitely not a lam, between R2's chest and base of R3's tail. As above, I would not be surprised if 2010 coins start to show up with a Cud in that position as well.

$1 2010 C6v2 R2-R3 Rat Tail

Hi Nancyc,

Quote:
Rat Tail

That defiantly has the same characteristics
as my 2010 $1.
jpl..

Ps, Just to make sure you think my coin
is a "Die Crack" developing into Roo 2 Rabbit Ear's Cud?
Thank's..

Could be a Die Crack, probably more accurately a die chip, but we don't really call them that in Oz. A damaged die anyway, and hopefully someone will report finding some with large Cuds similar to Rabbit Ears but on Roo2.

2010 $1 have quite a few different errors reported already.

One day I might get round to taking piccies of all my $1 errors, but don't hold your breath.
