I remember it. sure wish I had found it. I don't remember the complete article but I think it was a normal "non collector" that found it. I think they named it the Dole bill or something like that.

Am I the only one surprised that it only fetched $28,000? It's ultra cool and completely unique.

a lot more. but not from me I don't do bills. lol
but if I found that I would have sold it too. for the first $28.000 offer at that. heck that's 27.980 more than I had when I found it lol (no it was not me that found it)

Honestly, with the right two bidders head-to-head I wouldn't be surprised if that auctions for close to a million. In any case I think $28,000 is a steal.

I just wonder how many other bills go through circulation with massive errors and no one notices. Same with error coins.
