I recently bought this two engraved tokens but have no idea what it is.
they both have a diameter of 27mm
The first coin has an engraving of 'thomas ford 1787'

"Love tokens" usually have people's name or initials engraved on them. So I suspect they are the initials "IG" or perhaps "JG" (since I and J were pretty much interchangeable as the first letter in a name back then), rather than a denomination "1G".
