daveyn Valued Member United States 160 Posts	Posted 08/08/2007 7:39 pm Hello Everyone, Just had to post this one, it's one of the biggies. I found this last Friday at a local coin club meeting. It's the 1873 closed 3 Snow-1 double liberty, it's hard to see the doubling on the head band due to the texture of the coin. I can't seem to get a clear pic of it, the coin is an easy VF-30 though. It's not listed as a diagnostic point, and Rick says there are a lot of weak points due to the grease and water, but I'm not so sure it isn't a broken or worn die. hope to do a little more research and find out.
