Thanks to some help from the Coin Community family, I purchased my first old U.S. gold coin today. The final deal ended up in me paying $300 plus trading him a 1/10th oz gold eagle for this very nice PCGS AU-58 half eagle from 1893. After we spoke about our different passions for coins, the seller threw in an 1850 large cent for free. How do you guys think I did on this one?   |

Its very nice! Don't know alot about this series but it looks nice on the reverse for a 58.
Congrats. I'm sure you'll want to keep up the gold hunt.

Gold is always a blast too buy! And AU-58 gold seems to be the most interesting! Great Buy and enjoy the new piece.
