Hi
Someone gave me a few coin to sell it for him. I tested it for silver and it passed. But when I see other forums and every coin being called fake. I would like to know your oponion on these so I can set the right price for them ! If they are fake, is 10$ a good price ?
and there is one of them that I cant read.

Hello and welcome.

You have two from Hupeh and two from Yunnan, but your coins are, sadly, like the vast majority of these Chinese dollars - modern reproductions. I am wondering what silver test exactly was used, because just judging from the pics the colour is not what I would expect silver to look like, and exactly the colour the non-silver fakes usually turn out.

If you wish for further evidence, weigh them. I suspect from the colour that they will weigh considerably less than the 27 grams they are supposed to weigh.

These fakes typically sell for $1 or $2 each down at the local flea markets.
