Got out early this morning to beat the heat.
I have been suspecting for quite some time that some one else has been searching the local parks and elementary schools. My suspicions were confirmed today. The first park I stopped at was covered in small holes with pull tabs and canslaw all over the place. My competition is not going to do much for the reputation of metal detectors in my area. I am a firm believer in the U dig it U keep it rule and I always fill my holes. Anyway he/she has a lot to learn about were to look as they missed all this

Must of been a newbie if they didn't cover up the holes and missed a lot. After seeing your posts, I'm having the urge to take my Spectrum XLT out for a spin. Sad thing is that I never really used it and it's been sitting around collecting dust.

I had an XLT. Excellent machine if ever there was one. I upgraded to a DFX a couple of years ago. Made some very good finds with both. Whites are a good brand.
