Today was more like it.
We got up early to beat the heat and went to a new (To us) Elementary school Its a little outside our normal search area and it would seem to be outside the area searched by the other local detectors.
35 mins in the mulch around the swings and jungle gym yielded this haul. Just doubled our CC tokens in one day..
The play area was originally graveled and the mulch was added at a later date. Some of the finds were deep in the gravel so I suspect that it had not been searched in a while. Found the school using Google Earth sat images. There are 3 other Elementary schools and 4 city parks within a five mile radius of my house that I never knew where there. Will be hitting them as time permits.

I have to take my ankle biters out in the morn to clean up the playgrounds in town. The last time we did it, they found some old pulltabs from aluminium cans. I had to explain to them what they were, they had never seen them before, but man when I was a kid they were a plaque.
