I also have asked a moderator to come along and move it into the decimal one. ~thx Whee! I got my commemorative 50 cent coin in the mail today. The design isn't as impressive as some of the ones I've seen in the past, but it's pleasing none the less. I admit when I purchased this coin, because I mainly prefer coins that have circulated, I was being a bit greedy. The commemorative 50 centers seem to appreciate more than most other mint coins, so I grabbed this one too. :) The official release date isn't until Monday, though. Image from Downies.
