Not much left of that cent SPP.

Gidgit is your 1882 Vicky Cent a double clip, check 3 o'clock on the
reverse. (I know this is an old post).

Very nice - the rims show that this is legit. I am jealous, I don't have a clip from that series.

I found these 4 in a group of uncirculated rolls purchased a few years ago. I haven't gone through all the rolls yet so I'm hoping there will be another in there yet.

A rare Victorian straight clip, from 1898, and a decent grade as well. I snapped this one up off a seller in the US on ebay. The reverse dovetailing of the rims was more than enough to convince me that this was legit.

Cleaning up my desk again, and decided to photograph this one from 1964. Larger clip than most, mint state and an earlier effigy. Estimating by its weight, it was struck on a 9% clipped planchet.
