Hi Guys,

I was fortunate recently to win a small group of Greek bronzes and silver pieces (roughly 25 in total). Of the 25, these four coins are the last which I'm not able to pin down 100%. Any help would be great in identifying them.

Coin 1: Drachm, potentially Illyria:

Coin 2: Potentially Athena Right with Spear, legend: ΛYΣIM,Lysimachos?

Four-Greeks!

Coin 3: Kappadokian Bronze, Ariarathes III?

Coin 4: LUCANIA Bronze:

Four-Greeks!

Thanks

All four of these coins are awesome. I am not sure which one I like more. I do love silver but man those counter marks are awesome. I like how both coins were CS without destroying the original design. That took skills.

Number 1 is the typical style from Illyria and from the inscription most likely Dyrrhachium (imo the inscription starts at the bottom with DYR), there is a reference for the various inscriptions but I can't recall the name.

Very nice group, I particularly like the Illyrian one. I've been looking at them lately but haven't found one that I like and could afford. I wouldn't mind any of the others either.

If the rest of the 25 are of a similar quality, then that is some 'catch'.

I am not that lucky at 'fishing'.
