I recently purchased several raw CBDs and this 1814 Large Date was among them. Grades and comments welcome.

Obverse has VG-8 details but the reverse is more like G-6. The reverses on this series suffered from weak strikes.

Looking at this coin, I would have to say G-6. All details on the obverse are completely worn. The lettering in the word Liberty is still very visible and so I see why many are saying VG-8.

Good details. Obverse rim damage at 6 o'clock.
