Nice! Are the silver ones .800 or .500 fine? If they're .800, you've paid below spot for them.
Check the 1973 for a large bust.

Yes they were heavily circulated, but for a good cause, there were a lot of seniors there with tables.

I believe the bobcats are 80%. The 1973 mountie is a SB, it would be pretty lucky to find a large bust at a flea market and a whole lot more expensive too.
Pennyman the kitties are pretty level, no rotation unfortunately.

Not a lot of flea markets in my immediate area but like to get out and about to more when better weather comes our way again. Never know what you will find, a buddy of mine years ago bought some type of glass bowl [ Limoge ] that he said was worth a few thousand and he only paid $50 for it but he cracked it on the way out the door in the excitement and rush to get it home and it ended up being a $10 vase that he stuck some flowers in and sits on his mantle for all to see.  |

I buy one roll of 1964 nickels guy say to me gringo these are uncirculated I check this all coins were scratched and 2 had hole in it,gringo was not very happy I no like fleece markets

I did once find a group of about 10 or 12 common date Morgan dollars that the seller was selling as MS63's but I believe most are 64s and possibly 65s. All are blast white. Haven't sent them in for grading as yet. Beyond that, I have found nothing. There is a coin seller in this same flea market who does have some nice slabbed coins but he wants brick and mortar coin shop prices or higher. At those prices I can go to a real coin shop who has a genuine reputation and stands behind their products. |

When I go, I often have a look if someone has coins. But I never buy expensive coins at flea markets, I treat it just like buying from any other private seller. I never trust the person in front and negotiate to the price I am comfortable at.

I went to one today. total waste of time unfortunately. The only coins to be found were grossly overpriced and in fairly rough shape. I keep hoping to find a gem one of these days.

I grew up in a town that didn't have a coin shop. When I was about 12 years old, I went to a local flea market and made my very first numismatic purchase, an 1859 Canada Large Cent in AG-G. I became so fascinated the fact that I was able to hold something that was obviously used in commerce for such a long time and had such an interesting and mysterious history; Who has used this coin? What did it pay for? What has happened in history over the coin's lifetime? I was hooked. After that, every week, I would look forward to going to the flea market on Sunday to see what I could add to my collection.
