Hi I've been trying now for a few months to find these in circulation without luck. It seems the 92 loon is lower mintage but the 94 (non-cenataph) isn't so I'm wondering why? should I be able to find them?

Hi, Tim, It's funny that you said that.
I found both of those in my change yesterday, so keep looking!

I find them from time to time, but I find the Loonies in circulation just don't look as nice. It's something about the aureate bronze that I don't like. Maybe because there is rarely any luster on the coins.

I don't so much about condition. If someone has either of these I could swap? maybe for some olympic quarters if our american friends need them? wait our money is now worth something :)

I've found several 94 loons but NEVER would I even dream of finding a 92, its so rare in circulation, aren't they?! I have bought a BU version, but I'm not willing to trade that one away yet. Do you guys find the 1952-2002 loon hard to find? I think I've found one so far...

I think I've managed one, possibly two in the (almost) 5 years that I've been living in Canada. I think the best bet would be to buy several rolls and try your luck. I might actually do just that.

Last weekend I lost my bankcard and had no cash for the weekend. I had to dig into my box of spare Loony's. A bunch of nice BU dollars from 1987 through 1995 went for the cause including both 1992, 1994, and 1995 issues.
