Good Evening I present several pictures and I have no idea how this fault has occurred. The liners will see several lines without a magnifying glass under the reflection of light. If you have any ideas how this defect may have occurred or web links or any they would like it to be comfortable to say. Do not look at garage job because it is not one, this fault is from the striking of coin. If you want to see more pictures and many others, look at this link. http://www.numicanada.com/forum/vie...f=22&t=24826Thank you for your help

Good Evening thedollarman
Can you explain how a "Die Cap" in the last period, which is stuck on the "Hammer Die" can make a strike convex so neat?
Because the reverse patterns (maple leaf) are adhesive side hammer reverse die?

Thank you Thedollarman and SPP-Ottawa for your help. I now understand how it happened with the explanations here: http://www.error-ref.com/struck_thr...age_die_cap/Someone once said: "A numismatist is and always will be an eternal student." For SPP-Ottawa: Would it be possible to show a picture of the one you have? For Vancouver IslandCoinKid: This piece belongs to a member of our club currencies.

Thank you in advance RE: Photo Request made February 23, 2015 Does this mean that you do not have these coins because despite your presence on the site, no answer or picture of this coins after your commitment to do so?

Seriously? Are you questioning my word and integrity on this site, because I am not instantly catering to your requests for photos? Yes, I have these coins. If you have read any of the other threads, you would already know that I am out of town, with work, and no where near my coins... Coins are my hobby, and I get around to doing stuff like this, when I find the time. Patience is a virtue, held by few Canadians, and no Quebec'ers!!
