Does this mean that you do not have these coins because despite your presence on the site, no answer or picture of this coins after your commitment to do so?

Castor, the more I read your last post, the madder I get... this kind of behaviour and bold, rude assumption reminds of the older 1932 Far 2 threads, whereby if za75 did not see a photo of a mint state example, in his mind, it did not exist...

I have been away from Ottawa since Feb 26th, and I finally return home March 8th. I will want to spend time with my wife and kids, and frankly, I really don't want to take pictures of my coins just because you are impatiently waiting...

For SPP-Ottawa: Would it be possible to show a picture of the one you have?

I changed my mind (and I am entitled to do so). The answer is NO - go find your own!! If anyone else at Coin Expo in Toronto in May wants to see something like this, pop by my table. Lots of error collectors here, including nickelsguy and smallcentguy, has seen my collection of 1-cent errors, including mint state examples exactly such as this. I don't need you pushing my buttons by calling out my integrity by asking if I in fact even possess this error type... Take your rude comments back to Numicanada, and leave them there...

Castor....your coin appears to be struck by a shifting capped die. Capped die strikes are relatively common but ones from a shifting cap, especially that many shifts, are pretty scarce. Very nice coin.

Here are two examples of shifted die caps on Lincoln cents. As you can see, the die cap was rotating between each strikes.

SPP-Ottawa, when is the coin expo? I would love to see your errors, I could only imagine having something as beautiful.

SPP:

If you were at the coin expo last year and had the PCGS graded blank nickel dollar with three clips compared side by side with a similar nickel dollar with clips, I passed by that table without even wondering if you were part of the CCF

I will definitely be coming around to see some more error coins this year, and possibly grabbing a few penny errors

As for this penny castor, I believe it is the shifted die caps. I'm not very good with errors, but it's seems to me that this is what happened

If you mean the coins in this thread:

Then yes, that was me... some of Canada's biggest error collectors like to hang out at my table at Coin Expo... sometime we see some crazy stuff come out for "show and tell"...
