I ended up ordering a bunch more 3-pocket pages (which didn't have the ripples, by the way) and now I have a pretty full 7001 of ~25 pages. I don't know if I'll leave it that full forever but as GR58 mentioned, it doesn't really interfere with viewing the notes. I think as my collection grows, I'll (if all goes well) end up spreading my notes out over 2 or more albums, so will be able to transfer some of those pages out to a second or third 7001. But that won't be for quite some time yet. Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome. Now I need to generate an index page. And of course work on filling it, as jbuck pointed out.

Room to grow. I am glad the album is working out to your satisfaction.

Growth is becoming an issue, jbuck. A few ebay purchases of several (very inexpensive yet important) $1 notes has really started to crowd the album, which is easy to do when 3 notes fill one page. I'm going to have to find a 2nd 7001 album here very shortly! Horrors!

Well, I've gotten to the point where I'm happy enough with my 7001's to finally post some pictures. I still need to put together index sheets like GR58 has; just haven't figured out how I'm going to format it yet. I have two 7001's at this point and they are both still very much works in progress. Album #1 is my small-size $1 notes and Album #2 is the small-size $2, $5, $10, $50, and $100 notes. For my small $1 note collection, My goal is to acquire: One of each year and series (and BEP facility for 1998A+ notes) One star from each year and series (and BEP facility for 1998A+ notes) One of each experimental note ("S", "R", web, etc.) One of each emergency issue (North Africa, Hawaii) This method is going to require another 7001 just for my $1's. I have 21 pages in it currently (to again answer the OP's question) and it could fit maybe 5 more, but to complete this collection will be more than 15 notes and I don't want the albums to be stuffed. Given that the $1 note hasn't changed much in the past 50 years, the FRNs get kinda repetitive and my wife thinks I'm nuts for collecting "dozens of the same thing". Oh well. I know they're different. Anyway, as matttheriley said, "less typing, more picture posting", so on with the photos! Small $1 Note Album, closed. Sorry about the blurriness, but this is just to give an idea of what it looks like with 21 pages. $1 Silver Certs: More $1 Silver Certs: Boring $1 FRNs:

And some pics for my $2, $5, $10, $50, and $100 small note album. My goals are similar to the $1 collection (1 of each series and year, stars, special issues, etc.) but due to the increasing nature of the face value along with numismatic value, I am not nearly as far along with these, so they all fit comfortably into one album. I can see the $5s taking up a lot of room too given the sheer number of USN, Silver Certs, and FRNs there are. $2 United States Notes: $5 Notes: 2 $10 Notes and a $20*:

Wow, those look great! My only concern is there appears to be a not-so-empty wine glass precariously perched nearby!

Thanks, everyone. Oh, by the way, @jbuck, don't worry about the wine glass. It was Pinot Noir, a very non-staining wine.

Non-staining wine? Is that like non-burning fire?
