I'm still having trouble getting an ID on the coin, can anyone point me in the right direction, perhaps with a date range, or reference?

No that's not a crown. Took me a while but I found it, it is indeed a silver denarius of septimus severus. Looks like it's been through a fire though, so I wasn't able to fully attribute it.

Really appreciate the help

I think you might be able to narrow it down but to fully ID might be difficult because there are so many Septimius Severus reverses with a lady setting on a chair/throne/seated.
