Today I decided to go to a Bank of America I've never been to before, and I thought I was going to go there to get a few half dollar rolls. Right before the guy was available to serve me at the desk, an elderly couple in front of me deposited $330 dollars in quarter rolls. Seeking an opportunity, I decided to ask the teller that not only did I want some half dollar rolls, but I also wanted to buy a some of the quarter rolls as well that the elderly couple deposited. I knew the chances of the rolls having silver in them was slim because it was quarters, but when I told them I was going to buy off some of the rolls, they told me they didn't search through any of them and told me "good luck". After coming home today and checking them all, I am glad I decided to buy a few! There was only a lone silver quarter, but I thought it was worth it. I've never pulled a silver quarter from circulation until today. Here is the picture:

What do you say? Should I go back and buy up the rest of the quarters? Who am I kidding, I'm buying up all their quarters as soon as I have the chance to get back!

I would buy the rest of the rolls. I wouldn't expect much though. I have gone through several thousand dollars in quarters, and I have only found 2. (hey were both in the first box I did)

Great luck! I'd go back and pick the rest up if they still have them.

I definitely plan to go back and get the other rolls. The unfortunate part is I can't get back until next wednesday. As for those that were interested in the other dates in the rolls, I can tell you there were a lot of heavily worn quarters, though there were some early 90s and 80s that were in MS shape. There was also 1 1973 franc, 1 25 cent from the Barbados from 1981, 1 25 cent panama balboa from the 1970s and 3 canadian quarters. There were very few quarters from 2010+ onwards and makes me think they spent a LONG time building up their quarters. There was a surprisingly small number of State Quarters, which makes it even more surprising I didn't get more silver quarters!
