I have this weird thing where about every time I find a wheaty it is reverse side up. I just find this the weirdest thing and was wondering if this is the case for other people. Lol. May sound odd but About all of them are reverse up.

I think it's all psychological, since every time I see one face up, I almost throw it with the rest of the pennies assuming it's a worn copper, but I'm wrong! Reverse side up, it's a different story since I notice right away! But I see your point, it makes sense.

Hmm, for me I'd say 50/50. But funny stat!

It is a bit like accidentally dropping freshly buttered hot toast!

I'm with the 50/50 vote...but it does seem like every nice coin I find it's nearly always damaged on the opposite side.

I usually find them mostly reserve side up too. I flip every coin reserve side up though, so I know if it is a wheat or not.

I normally just sort Pennies for the Copper. But you are correct, I normally find the Wheats reverse side up.
Funny you should use the toast analogy Sel, my Dog got a nice warm piece of toast this morning.

For me they normally appear 50/50 also, but I've checked so many coins that now I can mostly tell by the tone of the obverse that its' probably a wheat. I do normally search the shiniest cents first, though, to look for any nice LMC's before I look for wheats.

I actually feel like I get more obverse up than reverse. I still have young eyes, so I usually catch the 4 or 5 in the decade place.

Yes, mine seem to be more reverse. Then I put them aside to look through the rest of the roll before checking the date.
