The little thing above the hat is a minor die chip and they are very common as well. There should be no premium but I am sure some people would pay more than they should for them. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 12/15/2007 1:33 pm I'm rather amazed at just how minor these "doubled dies" are that people seem to be finding (making up) on Statehood Quarters. I highly doubt any sustained market value for these. Out of the 200 or so "different" known dies, there are about 5 that actually have potential of keeping any value long term.
