The depression just looks like a hit. The eye gets me, though it could be a die chip. I see no typical characteristics of counterfeits on this coin. In fact, the luster and the contact marks make this coin look impeccably genuine. I guess finding out your 1915 quarter eagle was counterfeit is making you cast doubt on the rest of your gold collection? Report this Post to the Staff
