So you can actually afford it^^ If so then BUY IT! I hate to see peoples dreams get ruined from a person they chose to spend the rest of there life with... Let her spend $10,000 on shoes or something.  |

I'd have to go with a complete set of 1959 coins in MS, birth year......oh......all with die cracks

A set of 1948 Canadian coins (cent through dollar) in gem ms65. That's my birth year!

Being I have been a avid collector of Canadian silver dollars for many years I would have to go with a silver dollar.
1948 - MS66 (The last MS66 I seen sell at auction went for $36,000 + premiums). Definitely a dream coin for me at that price unless I win Lotto 649, then I'm sure I would be the proud owner of one as soon as I can cash the ticket.

Since I already have the Norweb 1858 Canada 20c/NB 20c SP62 Mule for $700k someone else mentioned...cough...
The 1948 $1 JOP counterstamped...only 4 known and none seen in the last decade?...one must surface one of these days

In silver dollars I am missing, 1945, 1947 ML and 1948.
I would take any of these three in MS or AU.

Explain to her why you want to, and why you are comfortable doing so. I did with my lady and found her to be more supportive than I'd have imagined. If you have $10k you can get out of a TFSA, it's no better in the bank anyway. |

A genuine 1921 50 cent piece. I could then replace the copy I have in my Canadian coin album.

I think mine would be the 1916C gold sovereign... Followed by the 1921 50c piece
I think if I ever got either of those two coins I would then be highly motivated to complete either set...

Well then I guess I will be the first to say it, 1936 Dot penny (real) and in any grade. I keep telling all my pick up banks that this is what I am searching for.
