In silver dollars I am missing, 1945, 1947 ML and 1948. I would take any of these three in MS or AU.

Quote:I've been eyeing the same one up on ebay for the last 4 months. Trying to figure out a way to convince my wife that spending 10 grand on a coin is a good idea....I wonder how much a good divorce lawyer costs? Explain to her why you want to, and why you are comfortable doing so. I did with my lady and found her to be more supportive than I'd have imagined. If you have $10k you can get out of a TFSA, it's no better in the bank anyway.

A genuine 1921 50 cent piece. I could then replace the copy I have in my Canadian coin album.

I think mine would be the 1916C gold sovereign... Followed by the 1921 50c piece
I think if I ever got either of those two coins I would then be highly motivated to complete either set...

Well then I guess I will be the first to say it, 1936 Dot penny (real) and in any grade. I keep telling all my pick up banks that this is what I am searching for.

One I can't afford right now: 1911 SP65 large cent (or better than SP65)
One I could afford (but i'd have to like it a lot): 1870 half dollar in EF40-45 with dark toning

I would want a high grade NF 1946 five cent. I wont ever be able to afford one though. maybe one day I'll find one in a lower grade when I have some money to spend on it.

I would like a King George V nickel with a (large) Cud or a 180 rotation. I could settle with just knowing if either actually exist. Anyone have either?

Check out vdbcoins.com. There's a decent-looking 1870 LCW fifty cents listed for sale there.

Quote:I would like a King George V nickel with a (large) Cud or a 180 rotation They definitely exist, they just may not be for sale and if they are its probably at a coin store or auction hundreds or thousands of miles away from you. There NEEDS to be a CCF member here who can find one of those for you!
