An incredibly thick patina allowed someone to literally 'go nuts' with a scraping tool and even perhaps some polish on the bust. Still a hard to find emperor especially in a sestertius. I see a few neon green spots on the obverse. Concidering the amount of scraping already done I think it must be BD which is in the beginning stages. The coin looks solid though and I don't think it has penetrated beneath the patina. Be careful though ! Once BD starts spreading beneath it can be undetectable until pieces of patination start falling off like chipped paint.
Very nice find Germanicus I too have a battered Vitellius that could have been better preserved but I wouldn't swap it, better to have a rough example than none at all
The legends are still there and its a left facing bust, which is a bonus
