Yeah, I remember KoinPro posting about a 1955 DDO cent he (or someone else) found in a roll of poor man's DDO's. Hm... I'll take a closer look and post some more pics in a bit.

I don't think it's a late die state. look also at the I of IN. something caused the flatness of some of the letters on this coin.
