My oldest daughter was born on July 4th, so I love collecting patriotic coins for her. Here is the George Washington Commemorative Coin, because he is a big reason we celebrate. These are not a commemorative issued (issued after the end of World War II). but in fact was struck while the United States was at war with the Empire of Japan.
