ICG Crossover To PCGS - Coin Community Forum

newportnavyboy New Member United States 48 Posts	Posted 07/26/2015 1:38 pm good morning.....has anyone attempted submitting an ICG graded coin to PCGS for crossover grading? I know ICG "is the bottom of the barrel" for grading and values, but how far down thePCGS scale does an ICG slabbed coin fall? what are your experiences? Report this Post to the Staff

Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4473 Posts	Posted 07/26/2015 4:50 pm The current crossover success percentage of all coins submitted in the last per PCGS is 47%, so I would figure that ICG would be less than 47%. I have crossed over NGC and ANACS to PCGS and done well with solid graded coins. If the ICG coin that you are crossing is solid for the grade, the coin should cross. I feel that PCGS wants to cross the coin as they pick up the extra 1% of the total coin value when the coin crosses. If the coin is not solid for the grade, do not waste the money submitting. moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 07/26/2015 5:30 pm with slider in every regard. As is often quoted here, "Buy the coin - Not the slab". If you bought a coin in another slab that is properly graded, then it should cross. If not, then unlikely. Report this Post to the Staff
