Hello and welcome to the coin forum,

Krause World Coins Catalog is probably the best place to get those figures. You can post the dates here many of us have the books, or you can e-mail me your list and get the numbers for you.

Condition is always a factor to consider, but here are some of the dates to look out for:
1902- low sea level on reverse
1904- in EF and up
1905- in EF and up
1912-H in EF
1918-H
1918-KN
1919-H
1919-KN
1926- modified head
1950- low mintage
1951- low mintage
1954- 1 known

All the other dates are common, but do have value in UNC condition.

Any guide to the values of the coins allows you to compare the different dates so you can tell
which ones are rarest. My book tells me the 1827 is extremely rare as they go for around £150 in Fine. Don't go by mintage figures as this does not reflect the true number with this date on them, merely the number of coins produced in that year (may have had "1836" or "1838" etc on them) - mintage for this date was almost 1.5 million.

The mintmarks on British pennies are to the left and right of the date.
