Not exactly teo. It would have to be post 1981 and I think the engraver's initials would also help narrow the possible date down.

I'm not 100% sure. I sent BJ a note to take a look. Could very well be a different die state. Compare the reverse on the op coin and the one on COC.
We'll see what BJ has to say, he's the expert!!

2oldJC, thanks for inquiring further for me. I wrote in my initial post that my reverse is a little different. It is close though, and the obverse appears identical to me, so that's why I identified that one as being the closest match I've found to what I have. I await BJ's opinion. Also, what did you mean by 'op coin?'

Dbrablec, so under the definition cwb provided, a double die is a variety. In the definition you provide, it is an error. Oy ve.  Edited by Joecontois

Doubled dies, RPMs, Over mint marks, Over dates are die varieties. Wide/close AM's are year varieties. (1998-2000 Business strikes and Proof year varieties) Cuds are events that happen to some dies. (not a variety but listed) |

I believe this coin has Lincoln Memorial Reverse Design #5, making it from 1986-1988. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

2old jc, I had since realized that 'OP' referred to the person who posted the topic, I just didn't state that I realized. That proved beneficial however because I didn't gather what 'OP' actually stood for and now I know. Thank you for clarifying, and thank you jbuck. I'm just discovering the different LMC reverse designs, so I'd appreciate feedback confirming my thought that this is LMRD #5 which would make it a 1986-1988 cent. Thank you! Edited by Joecontois

While it is close to CU-1c-ND-24, an overlay shows it to be not the same. So, it is a new one. Please contact me through cuds-on-coins.com site and we can discuss getting it on site.
