I was the last person to get a bag of these pennies (2012)and I did open them. ALL HG MS (no chicken fingers lol), & ALL ERRS! But they are different from one (of the 3 smaller bags inside) to the next. There were many H3 clashes, most were DD (beads, & all) and or double struck! Here's the thing - about 3-400 have numerous rare clashes I have been trying to figure out for the past few years to no avail so I am assuming they are one of a kind.
Moving forward - here are my thoughts (maybe a little out there, but...) the double struck beads are different sizes (believing SB & LB) and looking at the I in DEI, I wonder if these coins were SF over NSF? I know it's odd for the years, but the clashing (or over strikes) appear as a flare in the "I" in DEI...I am enclosing pics of two of the coins as examples as they are different...the first shows the clashes over the I better and the other shows the many clashes on the RV including the most dominant one (in the lot - so far) that appears to be the shoulder fold or...? going right through the neck...Any insight would be greatly appreciated :)
