Hello

I recently inherited a box of old money. Very exciting but I don't know the best way to figure put what's what. Most is pre WW2 and some of the coins date to the 1700s.

An example. I have a coin in an envelope marked Vatican. It has several coins. One is a Oblectat ivstos dated 1765

I have hundred of coins. Mostly in envelopes marked by country. I also have paper money much is from WW2. Locks of Hawaiian silver dollar certificate, money from occupying countries etc...

Any ideas about determining value would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like your Vatican piece is a silver giulio of
Pope Clement XIII. Does it appear to be the same as this?

Welcome to CCF!

Do not clean any of the coins or currency.

Handle the coins carefully by the edges, one finger on either side of the coin without touching them on the surfaces.

Hawaii notes are definitely worth more than face value.

A good picture of both sides of each will save a thousand words.

To CCF , Always a good thing to inherit old coins and paper money. Nice way to start a collection of your own.
