I am a long time collector since 1963. Got the bug from my Dad who collected all the major US overdates and found a 1955 DDO LWC in change. Am liquidating coins from my Cub scout days to finish my Morgan date set and my US type set. Love the classic coin grading forum. From Smith Mountain Lake, VA.

Have fun with those Morgans. Do you still have the '55 DDO?

to CCF I agree, looking at the older, well circulated coins is a lot of fun....

A '55 DDO in the wild...hard to imagine! Those must've been the good 'ol days I hear so much about from the old timers at the LCS. 90% coins being churned out by the mint annually...ah! What a time to be a collector. to CCF.

Don't have the 1955 DDO anymore. Sold it to get the 1914-D LWC for the 20th Cent Type set.
