Sorry for your loss, I lost my dad two years ago. He never collected coins but when I was about ten to twelve years old(mid 60's) he had a newspaper route and I would go with him at times and he would let me take out the silver dimes from the racks and I'd pay him back with money I earned by mowing the yard and doing things around the house for him and my mother. Over the years he would ask me from time to time to look at some of my collection and if I still had those silver dimes. Yep, still do, wouldn't get rid of of them, great memories I still look back on. I miss him.

The coins are scheduled to arrive via UPS sometime this morning or this afternoon. I'm afraid to even go to the bathroom lest I miss the doorbell, since a signature is required for this delivery...

Arrrgh... I looked out the window and happened to see the UPS guy making a delivery to the house across the street. I ran outside and flagged him down as he started to drive away. He said he didn't have anything for me today, and he's the only truck that regularly comes to my neighborhood, but it might have been put on the wrong truck by mistake and would therefore get here later this afternoon. Or tomorrow.

I hope it will be on an afternoon truck.

I'm losing faith for a delivery today. Hopefully, the universe will now conspire to prove me wrong...

w00t! The package just got delivered. Take that, universe! The box was unexpectedly heavy, but that's because APMEX included some promotional goodies like a 2016 calendar and stacks of multi-colored post-it notes. I'll try to post some pictures as soon as I can, but I don't think I can take any pics even close to as nice as the PCGS picture I referenced above.

I sympathize, Barry, having lost my parents around 1970. I never knew my grandparents and I am now older than either of my parents were when they passed away. We have one picture of our parents with my oldest nephew, born one week after the Moon landing. Anyway,

Well, here's the best I can do on the Morgan (it's really impossible to capture the reflectivity): As for the 1799 dollar, it's so dark that I couldn't improve on the pictures provided by the seller that I showed above.
