As I just deleted my whole comment (literally accidentally closed out the page) that I was apologizing if this got way out of hand, I'm going to sum up what my reply would have been about:


I'm done posting counterfeits if it has to get to this point. I'll stick to replying to threads, occasionally posting here and there. This is a fantastic website, and when I joined, everyone was welcoming to me and almost brought me under their wing as a younger numismatist. I've learned a ton since I've joined since February. Counterfeits were something I focused on primarily since it was my weakness, now I've beyond excelled in the category to the point where I've felt almost compelled/inspired to potentially write a book that has detailed explanations with pictures that's current.

Regardless, what I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry if I offended, or did something to you. It wasn't intentional, even if it sounded like I was calling you out in particular threads, I guess I was just fed up.

I'll stop - & let other users post the counterfeit threads.

Anyways, I'm off to bed shortly. Tomorrow is my 17th birthday and I don't want to deal with this conflict anymore. Time to move on.

Could be. Maybe having Aspergers/ADD ties in? I don't want people to think less of me or treat me less of an equal after this incident.

I love baseball and wish I could be there with you playing but at 58 I'm happy I can still muster the strength to play softball. ;) I'm looking forward to next season, I still play a pretty mean 3rd base.

As for your efforts here at the forum, don't think for one minute that they have gone unappreciated. I want to say thanks for all you've done.

Nobody should pick on you for doing this work. I would not even attempt it. More power to you for your efforts to clean out the stables. Just ignore critics! Don't get sunburn. I live in Tampa next door.

There's several fake 1914 D cents up there as we speak. I've reported them, and am ignoring the temptation to report them here.

Maybe you could send a group of members emails about fake coins and asking us to report them? The members could sign up on a website, or on a post on here...
