While reading over the post by Jeremy123, about finding a roll of Buffalo nickels, I came across a few odd rolls myself just now. Not nearly as great as a whole roll of Buffs, but I like it none the less. It is a customer wrapped rolls of cents. Randomly dated from about 1987 to 2010. All the coins are bright red and shiny in AU-BU condition. No varieties yet, but I am able to pull a few nice BU examples to add to my stockpile.

Nice roll of cents there. I just seem to get junk coins. This is my my 3rd brick of Lincolns and they all look like they have been through a storm.

My husband just picked up a couple of quarter rolls from another town so we shall see if I get anything good from them.

I ususally get coins that look like crap. This is why I save the ones that look to be in BU condition no matter how new the date is. If I do not save them now they will look like crap the next time I see them.

Nice score seal. I do the same: the one cent investment is easy to make on BU coins. Good luck on finding some varieties...perhaps an '87 RPM or a BU WAM.

It's happened more than once: a member here posts a gem of a coin for a date/mm that isn't scrutinized. Makes you wonder what's slipping through your fingers!
