I was looking over my 1896 morgans looking for a doubled eye and found these die chips(GOOBERS) in her eye. I don't know if they're significant enough to be worth anything, but I think they're pretty cool. Has anyone seen these?

I tried different angles and magnifications.

eye upright.

eye upside down.

eye upside down 200X top left corner is bottom eyelid.

Please let me know if you have seen this before.

Small die chips can be found all over Morgan dollars. LeRoy usually classifies these as to small to be given a VAM attribution.

I know they're pretty small, but given the location they deserved some attetion. The only better place to find these would be in her nose. Now I have another place to look.

I think I'll call them the Goober Eye, and Boggie Nose varieties.

Any objections?
