I just started roll searching and found this odd penny. It looks like someone took a grinder to Lincoln's chin and nose. The reverse looks like a light doubled off-center strike. I can make out MA on the 3rd and 4th pillar from the right. Can anyone shed some light on what I have? I need to take a better pic of the reverse. Here's the obverse.

It's damage. Looks like a hammer did it.

I can't get a good pic. I tried to use a magnafying glass and I tried to scan it. How can I get the best pic?

use a macro setting on the camera if possible. Then use a photoprogram to crop the picture.

Still, the reverse shows that it was whacked by a hammer as Coppercoins indicated.
