Just found today mixed up with others dollars coins and couldn't help myself in keep it

I don't collect those kind of coins so not familiar with them but I think it's at least an uncirculated almost 10 years old coin and maybe a proof alsoThanks in advance for answering !

Is that an "S" on his collar above the first E of PRESIDENT?

It looks polished. A proof should have frosted devices to contrast the mirrored fields (cameo effect).

A proof would also have the S mint mark on the edge (not on either face).
