Note the weakly struck area on the obverse and the corresponding area of excessive circulation wear on the reverse. Then note the circulation on the rest of the laminated area. I think your coin laminated before the strike on the reverse in an area that would be defined by the weakly struck area on the obverse. After some circulation the rest of the laminate came off and more circulation followed. If I am correct you have a split before strike Indian. Very Cool ! Report this Post to the Staff

mikediamond Pillar of the Community United States 2742 Posts	Posted 03/24/2016 9:20 pm I suspect that the portion of the reverse face opposite the weakly struck area on the obverse split off before the strike. The remainder split off after the strike. Error coin writer and researcher. Report this Post to the Staff
