I purchased an airtight for a silver eagle I had laying around. The airtight is with the inner ring. When I try to put the coin inside, it wouldn't fit. Have anyone else experienced something like that? How do I get the coin inside?

Can a silver coin expand in diameter?

Are you sure it is for an ASE? They come in 40mm, but also have 39mm and 38mm rings. I always buy 40mm direct-fits. I like the look better

Silver dollars are 38mm
ASE are 40mm

You need the ASE airtite labeled ASE or 40mm.

Try putting a Morgan, Peace or Ike dollar into the airtite you have,
my guess it will fit just right

try fitting coin without foam ring...might fit pretty well. I use airtites with ring for all my coins.
