1956-D Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Maybe A Retained Struck Through? Strange Disc.

Pete2226 Pillar of the Community United States 3339 Posts	Posted 04/12/2016 09:44 am This "Disc" is ever so slightly raised above the field. My first thought about it was that it is a drop of glue or something like that. It has had a lengthy soak in acetone and a lengthy soak in xylol. It was completely unaffected by the soaks. BlueSolo Pillar of the Community United States 740 Posts	Posted 04/12/2016 2:17 pm My thought is that there was glue, sticker or something there as well that prevented some circulation? Notice the bottom right of the 'N' in "ONE" looks more worn? It's hard to tell if it worn or grease on the 'N' without seeing the rest of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff
