That is likely PMD/PSD (Post Mint Damage/Post Strike Damage) known as a spooned coin and the raised rim was done by hand. The possibility also exists that it is a Dryer Coin, basically spending some time during its life rolling around in a dryer. My best guess is spooned though. Strange looking, but either way, no added value. I hope this is helpful to you. |

I don't know where to start,maybe separating the countries.,ect. ,thanks people,I'm gonna keep looking.I know I have good coins I don't know about the errors part,prob. Would not notice an error if it was small.,til next time,from ca.usa.

The faces of the coin look disturbed, so I'm think it is a Dryer Coin. If the faces were not disturbed, and the rim was wider, then I would lean towards being spooned. |
