The tolerance for a Sac is 8.1 grams +/- .3 grams. So even if you get a weight of 8.45 grams it it plated or just a slightly overweight planchet? Buffblkngold New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/29/2018 10:43 pm I have been trying to determine the same. I have a 1999 SBA that is lightly circulated. It is gold in color and can't determine if a mint error or plated. Would a picture help at all? Report this Post to the Staff
