There's nothing on it. I suppose it might be PSD. It looks like there were two coats of copper plating and the top one has started to peel.

Looks like something is one the coin. It might be something dried on the surface. (taste it. LOL)

It has a sweet metallic taste. I will try washing it down with some acetone.

Have you tried dipping it in acetone to see if it comes off?
