Did I Screw Up On This 1892-S Morgan Dollar?

MontCollector Pillar of the Community United States 2403 Posts	Posted 08/13/2016 2:58 pm I just put a bid on an 1892S Morgan dollar. To my shock I won it. Did I pay too much? Is it real? Looks to be an F12 to me but I am really bad at grading low grade coins. Here is a link to coin on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1892-S-MORG...p=true&rt=nc What do you think? Is it worth the price? GR58 Bedrock of the Community United States 11951 Posts	Posted 08/13/2016 4:07 pm 1892 S Morgan's can be found in lower grades. The price for them goes up in better grades. I think starting at VF. I think you paid a little high, but not to much. If you were doing a full set, the 92S hole is a harder to find in a nicer looking coin .... Unless money is no problem. Report this Post to the Staff

I've got to get better at grading circulated coins. The 1892 Hole in my album is empty right now so this will fill it for a while. Looks to be a VAM-6 to me. Report this Post to the Staff
