I just put a bid on an 1892S Morgan dollar. To my shock I won it.

Did I pay too much? Is it real? Looks to be an F12 to me but I am really bad at grading low grade coins.

Here is a link to coin on ebay.

What do you think? Is it worth the price?

I would grade the coin G details damaged. The value of the coin is melt, and you paid a little over melt. Looks like it would make an excellent pocket piece or a hole filler.

1892 S Morgan's can be found in lower grades.
The price for them goes up in better grades. I think starting
at VF.

I think you paid a little high, but not to much.

If you were doing a full set, the 92S hole is a harder to find in
a nicer looking coin .... Unless money is no problem.

Thanks guys. I bid $1.00 over what it already was. figured I would be outbid at the end...but no-one else bid. I've got to get better at grading circulated coins.

The 1892 Hole in my album is empty right now so this will fill it for a while.

Looks to be a VAM-6 to me.

It looks like a VAM6 to me as well. One more VAM6 today and you'll have a hat trick.
