If it points to the middle of the 7 it's a small date. If it points to the bottom of the 7 it's a large date. Report this Post to the Staff

On uncirculated or proof coins, the crease in the 7 gives them away immediately, but I know this can be damaged or removed with wear. Report this Post to the Staff
