moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 10/07/2016 11:26 am I agree with the grade of VF-20. If the reverse were a little better it might have made it to 25. The toning displayed on this half is very common, and as has been mentioned, indicative of an old cleaning. Often, however, if this were submitted to a TPG I've seen a lot of these go through (not with NGC) without a details for cleaning. A collector will either enjoy the toning, or hate it, and there probably isn't a lot of in-between. I like this coin. Report this Post to the Staff

Lucky Cuss Pillar of the Community United States 4883 Posts	Posted 10/08/2016 01:10 am For comparison, here's NGC's webpage for the O-119: https://www.NGCcoin.com/coin-variet...-o-119-2816/ From the standpoint of wear, mine may be just the tiniest bit better than the second (bottom) one pictured there. I note that their example is also far from evenly toned. If I could find out what grade NGC had assigned to that particular specimen, I think that'd serve as a pretty good guide to how mine ought to come in if submitted.
