twslisa Pillar of the Community United States 790 Posts	Posted 11/09/2016 07:27 am Sorry I can't provide photos--didn't have the right equipment to capture this. A friend of mine has a lovely, gold/brown crusty toned Morgan. Under magnification, there's a short, pointed spike (much wider than a hairline crack) going off northwest from about 1/3 the way down the first 1. It's visible to the naked eye, but the toning makes it less visible than it would be if the coin were blast white. I looked through VAMWorld, but if this is part of a known VAM, it's not the key point, and I didn't have time to read the details of every one. Does anybody know of a VAM that has this as one of the attributes? Report this Post to the Staff
